Mental Health Awareness Week
I am struggling. It hurts me to say it, to admit it, but I’m having a hard time right now. I’m putting on a face a lot of the time but behind closed doors the bad days are outweighing the good. Jess has gone back to work and I’m full-time Daddy, something I thought would be a lot easier and much less exhausting. Pandemic Positives: Staying Social
So, the news hit recently that people will be able to meet up in groups of six in gardens or outside spaces as of tomorrow. Even though more is being done to help people with their mental health issues and to share their struggles verbally, it’s still hard for some people to open up and really talk. It’s taboo that we ask any questions or that we even raise a shr

It’s OK not to be OK
Mental health is a serious issue. Often treated as a taboo subject, it can crop up in so many forms including anxiety, depression, stress and so many more. When I was growing up if someone was suffering from mental health problems you immediately thought of someone in a straight jacket, sitting in a padded cell. The truth is that a lot of people who are suffering from a mental health problem are sitting next to you at work, walking past you in a shopping centre or even sat ar
