JOURNALIST
Milton Keynes Citizen
After graduating from the University College for the Creative Arts with a degree in journalism, I joined the Milton Keynes Citizen in 2007 - a local newspaper that was delivered to 125,000 houses around Milton Keynes. I worked as a journalist there for 6 years, in which time I wrote reports, features and had my own column, which in turn gave me the passion for blog-style writing and now my career as a freelance writer. I also interviewed hundreds of people on a range of different topics, wrote my own headlines, and proofread colleagues' copy.
