Time Flies
Time is one of those things that we all get in equal measure. Each day we get 24 hours to do with whatever we want. That’s 1440 minutes, or 86,400 seconds, and when you say it like that it seems like a lot. Especially seeing as we spend at least a third of that sleeping. With me I go to sleep anywhere between 9pm (some days) and 11pm before getting up around 7am when Rupert gets up. The moments outside of that I try my hardest to spend with those I love the most. Like I’ve sa

Procrastination Frustration
Procrastinating is a terrible thing.
How many times have you gone to do something only to be distracted and end up doing something else completely? You end up down a rabbit hole of ‘this YouTube video is telling me a new way I should be washing my socks,’ yet the blogs you should have written go unfinished.
Just recently I’ve suffered from this, ok maybe not the sock videos, but I should have written a lot more blogs than I have. And it’s not like I haven’t had the material.

9 Months In, 9 Months Out
This month, J and I have worked out something rather weird – our son has been in our arms as long as he was cooking in Jess’ tummy. I suppose it’s an odd way of looking at it, but I couldn’t think how else to explain to people just how quickly this last nine months has gone. In that time Rupert has gone from our cuddly, squishy, hungry little monkey who never wanted to sleep to a clever, funny, hungry little monkey who never wants to sleep. The time for other people has gone

Where does the time go?
It sounds like a cliché but time really is the most precious commodity we have. At the start of each day we all get 24 hours and we can choose to spend them however we want. Except the thing I’ve learned as a parent is that time seems to go so much quicker. One minute you’re getting up to start the day, the next minute you’re getting back into bed and you’ve achieved the sum total of sod all. In the last two weeks we’ve been home from hospital, Jess and I have planned to make

Time is precious, spend it wisely
Time is such a precious commodity. It’s one of those things that when you have a lot of it you don’t need it and when you need it you don’t have it. Since J and I became pregnant I’ve noticed that some days I really don’t have any time to do anything. It’s partly my own fault because, especially in the early days, I wanted to wrap J up in cotton wool, and protect her and the baby. Since then though, doing as much as I can around the house is my way of showing her my love and

Blogmas 2017 Day 5 – Procrastination or organisation?
Procrastination. The thing that harms my life the most and is the reason I do hours’ worth of housework/shopping/work in half an hour. It’s something that’s always affected me. Sometimes I just want to relax while J is out of the house so I sit and chill until she texts me she’s coming home and then I hurriedly do all the jobs I said I’d do. Sometimes, like when I’m working, I need to wait a while to be inspired before I crack through a load of work – that’s how I’m most effe
